Now, because September is always a manic time at Little Dog Towers and because it’s my birthday month and because I had the utter joy to hold and cuddle Spyder, a ten week old Dalmador – Dalmation Labrador X on a recent camping expedition and because I had to choke back the tears of happiness as I smelt pure undiluted puppy and because her Mum was lovely and has been a Little Dog fan for a very long time, I’m declaring Spyder is this month’s Pet of the Month! Enjoy xxx
Here at Little Dog Towers, we LOVE meeting your furbabies. We love to hear their stories and we really love to feel like we’re getting to know you and them. So, please send your pictures and stories into us and be in with a big chance to win a lovely bunch of Little Dog goodies for your troubles!
Anna Danielle studied printed textiles at Winchester School of Art. Her final degree work featured cows, lots and lots of cows. Each student was required to have a quote or sentence that best described their work. As Anna’s artwork has always been animal based, simple and full of gentle humour and being in a bovine frame of mind she chose the line from the Over the Moon nursery rhyme “the little dog laughed to see such fun” which later became her final choice of company name.
Whilst studying for her textile degree, Anna had her first experience of designing greeting cards. That was her eureka moment and 18 years on she is still creating cards and gifts inspired by her love of all things four legged and furry. She primarily works with watercolour and pen and gets much of her inspiration from the photos and anecdotes loyal Little Dog followers send to her via email or her Facebook page.
