This is The Brandish’s little terrierist Scrumpy. She was rescued from death row when she was one and she is now nearly eight. Scrumpy is so named because for years scruffy Terriers were always known by Kathy Brandish as ‘scrumpy dogs’ so when Kathy was finally able to have a dog of her own it just had to be a Scrumpy. Scrumpy is very lively and does most things at full speed! The standard phrase at training classes is ‘that’s very good Scrumpy but can you just do it a bit slower’. She loves learning new stuff but is not very quick to learn not to do naughty stuff. Scrumpy does have a sensitive side and is very fearful of loud noises. Strangers are also unlikely to bare witness to her charms but once you have been judged and deemed worthy expect to be smothered in a shower of kisses.
