To admit you caught me by surprise on your Facebook response to Pet of the Month would be a small understatement and I apologise for the confusion in posts appearing here there and everywhere but I don’t want that to distract from the most worthy of winners. You voted for Rupert to be July’s Pet of the Month. He is 3 years old and was born with a portosystemic shunt which meant he had no arteries connected to his liver. At 1 year old he underwent a life saving operation at the brilliant Calder Vets in Dewsbury. He recovered well and is a wonderful friendly little chap, although he is very vocal !!
