The dangers of being active!

Having a bad day?

Our ‘Baby Nathan’ certainly is, well to be honest, more like a bad three years but he shrugged and stopped counting after year two. Despite him being the youngest and fittest of our sibling set up he’s now officially an ‘old git’ having snapped his Achilles tendon. Very common apparently in people over the age of 40 doing sporting activities. That’ll teach him for being active and playing paddle tennis with pals – stay home, read a book!

So, our poor little brother is in a cast for 6 weeks, a boot for 8 weeks and then it’s physio forever. Basically all his walking and climbing events are on hold until 2024. He’s pretty gutted to be honest as he was starting to get do quite well in the hiking world.

On the plus side, the rest of the teams fitness levels are set for a boost as we pick up the tasks where his crouches can’t carry him and he’ll get to enjoy the extremely rare experience of bossing his older siblings around! Plus now he’ll be foreman instead of grafter on our warehouse move and summer studio revamp. Always a silverlining if you dig deep enough!

Stay safe folks, avoid fitness, it’s not good for your health!

Ooooh, poorly foot. It’ll be a while before he gets to see that fat ankle again!

Fresh new cast crying out for some graffiti when he’s not looking.
