In loving memory of the kooky little Maine Coon Lambretta, who remained kitten-sized well into adulthood, earning her the affectionate nickname of ‘Minicoon’ instead. She never outgrew her kitten tendencies either, always choosing to sleep in the weirdest and most awkward of places like on a stack of books or a plastic bag. Lambretta was a timid, gentle cat, taking up very little space, but whenever whipped cream or fresh shrimp was on the menu she would uncharacteristically DEMAND to have at least a small taste. Despite being shy, Lambretta loved to play hide and seek with her chosen human one; he’d hide and she’d seek and when discovered she’d be ecstatic, chatting loudly to him with excitement. Hlin says “Our little furry ones give us so much joy and happiness and when they leave us I think a small part of us always goes with them”.
