Alfie adopted the Taylors exactly two years ago this month. Having sadly said goodbye to their previous furry companion, Benny of almost seventeen years, the Taylors spotted Alfie online and arranged with Leeds Dog Trust for a “meet & greet”. Within minutes it was obvious Alfie had found his forever home. He’d had a rough start to his young life, living on the streets with a homeless chap. Even now he’ll wrap himself up in a blanket at bedtime. Alfie hadn’t been socialised and was incredibly nervous on his own but slowly and surely his personality and confidence has grown. Like many little dogs he has a BIG personality and considers himself far bigger than his short stature suggests. Alfie is a Terrier with a smidge of Collie in him which means he is bright, incredibly affectionate, faithful & at times very, very vocal. Alfie loves to please and always enjoys a “good knee”! Extended walks, especially those that involve long grass for prancing in are his most favourite thing. What a lucky, loved little boy.
