Harry The Cat. “There’s a kitten here and unless I take him, he will most likely be put to sleep! Can I bring him home?” This text message from Stacy to Helen was a little daft as the answer had and always will be yes! Harry aka “Haribo-Bluefoot-Twotoes” arrived at the Reed – Owen household with a badly damaged foot. His fur was blue from the antiseptic spray and he did look a sorry state. Despite toe amputations and endless dressing changes, Harry’s injuries were too severe and eventually the kindest option was to amputate. Stacy & Helen put a cat flap in their garden fence as a little disabled access. He took one look at it, popped his head through then reversed and jumped up and over the panel. From that moment on, being three legged has never held him back! Harry is obsessed with squeezing into any small space. Helen had placed two mattress beds one on top of the other to make it extra comfortable for their old dog Ellie only to return moments later to find Harry had already claimed the space!
