Maddie the  cocker spaniel only needed to wag her tail at Kim, an Education Officer at Dogs Trust Bridgend, and it was love at first sight! Kim took a shine to Maddie’s brown eyes and soft face and it was the start of a beautiful togetherness. Then a timid little ball of fluff was handed in to the same Dogs Trust centre. At just eight-weeks-old, this tiny little shih tzu cross Pomeranian was full of fleas but Kim couldn’t leave him. Two days into her first fostering experience, Kim realised she would be a foster failure. There was absolutely no way she could let pocket-sized Flea go and so he was promptly adopted. Maddie and Flea instantly became best friends, sharing beds, toys, treats and Kim’s heart. When Kim met  Jason, their first date was a dog walk on the beach. Once Kim saw how good Jason was with her dogs, she knew she should adopt him too! Two years later, Flea and Maddie were a big part of their wedding day. Maddie, a beautiful flower girl and Flea, a page boy, walked with Kim down the aisle, along with her bridesmaids. After the ceremony they spent the day at the beach, joining in for photos, as well as the wedding breakfast. A wonderful day of memories to remember forever.
